Starting New Tracks
Create a New Assessment
- Log into your dashboard
- Click "Start New Assessment" or "Use Available Track"
- Enter track title to identify this project
- Begin the three-section wizard
Naming Your Tracks
Best practices:
- Use actual track titles for easy identification
- If title changes later, you can update it
- Be specific if you have similar-sounding tracks
- Consider including version numbers if applicable
Examples:
- "Midnight Dreams (Album Version)"
- "Summer Nights - Final"
- "Untitled Track 3"
Working on Multiple Tracks Simultaneously
You Can Work In Any Order
- Start all tracks at once, or one at a time
- No requirement to finish Track 1 before starting Track 2
- Work on whichever track you feel ready for
- Save and switch between tracks freely
Recommended Approach for Efficiency
Option 1: Sequential (One at a Time)
Best for: First-time users, learning the system
Process:
- Complete Track 1 entirely (wizard → evaluation → documentation)
- Learn from the feedback and process
- Apply lessons to Track 2
- Continue improving with each subsequent track
Advantage: You'll get better at articulating your work with each track
Option 2: Batch Entry (All at Once)
Best for: Users familiar with the process, working on an album
Process:
- Start all tracks in one session
- Complete Song Story for all tracks
- Complete Creative Contributions for all tracks
- Complete Production Elements for all tracks
- Evaluate all and refine based on feedback
Advantage: Efficient use of time when you're in "documentation mode"
Option 3: Hybrid Approach
Best for: Most users
Process:
- Complete 1-2 tracks fully first
- Learn from the feedback
- Batch remaining tracks applying lessons learned
Advantage: Balance between learning and efficiency
Individual Refinement Periods
Each Track Has Its Own 30-Day Window
Important points about refinement periods:
- Starts individually: 30 days begins when YOU complete initial evaluation for THAT track
- Independent timers: Track 1's period doesn't affect Track 2's period
- Unlimited refinements: Edit and re-evaluate as many times as you want within 30 days
- After 30 days: Your documentation remains accessible and valid for filing
Managing Refinement Deadlines
Dashboard shows:
- Days remaining for each track
- Which tracks are approaching deadline
- Which tracks are still refineable
Strategy:
- Prioritize tracks with fewer days remaining
- Don't rush—30 days is generous
- It's okay if some tracks don't need refinement
- Focus improvement efforts on lowest-scoring tracks
Comparing Track Scores
Side-by-Side Analysis
Your dashboard allows you to:
- View all track scores at once
- Compare strengths and weaknesses across tracks
- Identify patterns in your creative process
- Learn what approaches score highest
Using Comparisons to Improve
If Track 1 scored 85 and Track 2 scored 62:
- Review what you did differently in Track 1
- Identify which contribution areas were stronger
- Apply successful approaches from Track 1 to Track 2
- Refine Track 2 using lessons from Track 1
Documentation Management
Accessing Documentation
Each track's documentation is individually:
- Downloadable: PDF format for all documents
- Permanent: Remains accessible after refinement period
- Updateable: Regenerates if you refine the narrative
- Individual: Each track has its own complete documentation set
Organizing Your Files

Filing Decisions Per Track
Independent Filing Choices
You can mix and match filing approaches:
No Pressure to File All at Once
- File tracks as you're ready
- Some may need more work than others
- Higher-scoring tracks can file first
- Lower-scoring tracks can wait for improvement

Upgrade Costs Per Package
- Single Track: $75 per track
- 3-Pack: $60 per track (save $15 each, $45 total)
- 5-Pack: $50 per track (save $25 each, $125 total)
Selective Upgrades
You don't have to upgrade all tracks:
- Upgrade only tracks you want us to file

- Track 2: Upgrade to filing service ($50)

Common Multi-Track Scenarios
Album Project
Situation: 5-Pack for full album
Recommended approach:
- Complete and evaluate all 5 tracks
- Identify strongest and weakest tracks
- Focus refinement on 2-3 weakest tracks
- Batch file all tracks when ready (DIY or filing service)
- Single copyright filing session for efficiency
EP with Singles
Situation: 3-Pack for EP, some tracks already released
Recommended approach:
- Prioritize already-released tracks (need copyright sooner)

- Take time with unreleased tracks to refine thoroughly
- Stagger filing as tracks are released
